National Emergency Area Retrofit (NEAR)  for National Highways

Delivery of the National Emergency Area Retrofit (NEAR) programme for National Highways Across 2 Schemes.

Along the M1 & M5 36 new extra emergency areas are now open for use along sections of the Highway.

​

28 new EA's along the M1 & 10 new EA's along the M5.
